Jayco ZX Product Literature
To appeal to the families and individuals that want to haul ATVs or motorcycles in the RV, Jayco asked us at HuebnerPetersen to design a distinct look and feel for their toy hauler line of products. These brochures became the basis for this brand segment.
World Vision Annual Report
World Vision wanted their Annual Report to bring their new mission statement to life for their major donors. We chose to take an informative, journalistic approach while utilizing a great deal of World Vision’s remarkable photo library to tell the story.
Colorado Meth Project
A joint project between the Colorado Meth Project and Clear. It utilized my stencil toolkit and posters pre-printed with four different prevention messages to create produce a large number of student-designed posters.
Starcraft Product Literature
Starcraft’s brand had been a bit scattered, so when they came to us at HuebnerPetersen, we analyzed the RV market, gave their brand voice a playful simplicity and made green a prominent part of their brand and product literature.
Testimony Africa Book
Another collaboration with Sean Sheridan, although my job as the designer was to let his photography speak for itself. The design of the book isn’t minimalistic, but it isn’t invasive either.
One Life Revolution Catalog
Trying to evolve the World Vision brand into a more youthful feel was a nice challenge. By expanding the use of World Vision’s primary and secondary color palette we were able to bring a lot of energy to this catalog.
Ideabook and Ideapad
Each year for the last three, we’ve developed a unique stationery system as Christmas gifts for our clients and partners. It’s a project that is usually a bit rushed, but is always a fun challenge in subtle typography and materials.
STD Prevention Poster Series
As preliminary research for my graduate thesis, I explored three different processes for creating health posters. One was designed based on individual research, while the other two engaged staff and students of the university by a variety of collaborative methods to direct the design and message of the posters.
Suicide Prevention Campaign
More than five years ago I felt there was a need for more thought on how design is used in micro-community settings. It’s the question I entered grad school with, and why I chose the University of Alberta to attend. This project is the result and I continue to work toward this end.
Microenterprise Development Report
There really isn’t a World Vision program I like more than their micro-loan efforts. This report was a chance to tell the story of the program’s recent success, and also develop a clear, concise, informational tool that would illustrate how micro-loan programs work.
Jayco Product Literarure
Jayco’s 2010 product literature utilized tinted scenic photography to create contrast for the products and build consistency from brochure to brochure. Clean white sections contrasted this in the interior and identified informational content from more descriptive or aspirational.
First Americans Sales Materials
First Americans is one of the only insurance providers that focuses only on Native Americans and their tribes. Their understanding and integration within the unique native cultures needed to be told in a simple but compelling manner that could differentiate them from competition.
Cyrus Carlson Birth Announcement
Handmade from the illustrations down to the stitching, these books were a labor of love, and each time my son wants to look at the book, it’s a great reward for my efforts.
