Ted Williams
This identity started as a class demonstration of gestural illustration methods. I had just read Ted Williams biography, but it took a couple years to decide to do something with the illustration and create this identity.
Episcopal Church
This logo redesign had to function within the strict confines of the Episcopal Church, while evolving their corporate crest and communicating youthful energy.
Radical Learners
Author Jim Knight needed a new logo for a blog that discusses issues facing educators and administrators. The logo needed to convey a radical feel without being a trite repetition of the fist symbol.
Clear
Clear is a local all-volunteer organization that presents the dangers of meth to schools in Loveland. They wanted a new logo that could convey dependability to city leaders and funding agencies, but also relevant to the youth they work with.
Cabin Creek
This identity was done for an internet startup that aimed to challenge Omaha Steaks for online steak and beef sales. The logo was burned into wood shipping boxes for the steaks and included their signature wood chips for grilling.
Indochine
Indochine was expanding to a new beautiful storefront in the revitalized Tacoma downtown and they wanted a new identity. The mermaid goddess pulls from religious illustrations native to the region that their family-ownership hails from.
Cobb
This grad school project started with my long-time interest in Ty Cobb and resulted in the design of this identity and a series of book covers based on rules of rhetoric.
Little Ideas
This handmade-stationery studio wanted to expand their business and needed a new look and feel. The final identity was based on a pair of antique scissors they’d used for years and after a few stylistic explorations this simple solution was settled upon.
Instructional Coaching Group
Instructional Coaching Group works with schools throughout the world to help them develop their educators through increasing dialogue and coaching within the academic environment.
Poubliaska Family
This project started as a gift for my niece and nephew. They star in our family talent show each year and I thought they needed stage names with official stationery materials.
